Hello! My name is Albelisa and I am the Owner and Head Floral Designer at Maple Field Floral! This is a business I officially launched in 2017 and it has been an absolute joy to work with flowers in celebrating so many happy occasions!

My goal is always to listen to your needs, have your florals be a reflection of your unique style and vision, and exceed your expectations. I am there to hand deliver your flowers and set everything up just the way you envisioned it and place arrangements in carefully calculated ways that are thoughtful and elaborate.

Here are a few fun facts about me and my business!

I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to live in NYC with my family when I was 7 years old.

I operate Maple Field Floral out of my Westchester County, NY home.

In an effort to spend quality family time outdoors, my husband and I would plan scavenger hunt hikes with our son.  What began as a fun family activity led to a collection of natural elements (pine cones, acorns, berries and ferns, oh my!) that were used to create floral arrangements and crafts for our home.

After being hired to make bouquets and centerpieces for a friend's wedding in 2011, floral arranging became a passion for me!

I graduated from Parsons School of Design  in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architectural Design. In addition to running Maple Field Floral, I work at an architecture firm in NYC with a focus on restoration of historic properties. I believe that my architectural background allows me to use my knowledge of form, structure, color, texture and pattern to create uniquely whimsical and sophisticated floral arrangements.

I am currently enrolled in the Certificate in Floral Design program at the New York Botanical Garden.

I  LOVE exploring the Hudson Valley, spending time with my family, playing sports and staying active, reading, board games, DIY crafts, sketching, old buildings and mojitos!

Stacey

When Stacey is not busy planning and executing weddings with Rogan & Co, she's working with us to create/design and set-up events! She's Albelisa's right hand gal and also heads up Staged ~ Styled ~ Booked, a service that provides creative marketing options for event venues throughout the Tri-State area. Stacey is a problem solver, coordinator extraordinaire and an integral part of our team; we love her!

Katie

Katie has been a part of the Maple Field Floral Team for a year now. During the week she works assisting well respected plastic surgeons and dermatologists; a career she has been in for 20 years!

She freelances for us on weekends and loves channeling her creative side by designing unique floral arrangements. Katie is a rock star and a beloved member of our team!

Alyssa

Alyssa is a recent college graduate of SUNY New Paltz and will be entering graduate school for speech language pathology this Fall. She has been working for us for a few months now; since the beginning of the wedding season!

In her free time she loves to spend time with friends and family, binge watch shows and finding new places to explore. Alyssa is our flower crown QUEEN (she finds making these dainty accessories therapeutic!) so if you spot a lovely flower crown in our portfolio photos, chances are it was lovingly created by her!

Julene

Julene is working with Maple Field Floral as a summer intern. This Fall she will be entering her sophomore year at Johnson and Wales University where she is a Business Administration major. She loves working in a creative field that also allows her to further her knowledge and understanding of business management! In her free time she enjoys working out, listening to music and yoga.

Rhonda

Rhonda is the newest member of our team, joining us as she works to complete her certification from the New York Botanical Garden in Floral Design. Rhonda met Albelisa of Maple Field Floral through a mutual Hudson Valley Flower Farm CSA we are a part of. She comes with a background in sales and marketing, and most recently, in interior design. Flowers have become her passion and she loves being able to create and produce beautiful events with our team!
